We tried to reproduce the problem with light scrollbars when switching to Dark visual theme, but with no success, it seems to work correctly both with version 6 and 7.

Here’s a screen showing how it looks in our CodeEditor (WPF) demo when switching to the dark theme.

Would it be possible to send me (andrew.medevedev@alternetsoft.com) a cut-down version of your project where the problem can be seen?
