We are upgrading our development environment to Windows 11/Visual Studio 2022. After installing AlterNET Studio on a new machine, everything has installed correctly however I am unable to activate the product with a licence key - I always get ‘Error: The LicenseSpot server cannot be reached at this time’. My guess is that this is because the machine in question is behind a proxy server and the licence tool doesn’t know the proxy server URL/username + pass to use in order to access the internet. Any suggestions as to how I can get the activation to work in this scenario?
Hi Andrew,
License activation will only work if LicenseSpot server is accessible. I’ve sent you node unlocked license which you can copy to a specific folder on your PC - this should fix the problem.
